End Game?

So I just got done watching End Game which supposedly is the last episode. I mean it definitely had a sense of finality to it but it was left open ended on several fronts too. The episode felt a bit rushed as far as the writing went but I still enjoyed it. Although I suspect OA1 probably has a difference of opinion on it then I do. Anyways, here's a pretty good and comprehensive (while not being too long) review of the episode which I agree with for the most part: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vhdl5xBQVGg
On a side note the Green Lantern episode Dark Matter ended on more of a note of finality. If that's the case I'll be sorry to see that one go unlike YJ I didn't much care for it at first but the writing eventually improved quite a bit. The show was good about not relying on it's primary caste like Hal Jordan and Kiliwog to carry the stories. As such they developed good secondary characters like Aya and Razor who were anything but two dimensional.

I came across this clip art that I liked from Arkham Unhinged #10. As you can see it's from a flash back sequence featuring The Suicide Squad although I can't friggin figured out if this is supposed to be from the old DCU or part of the reboot since this issue was published fairly recently. But it sure as Hell looks like the Ostrander Squad minus Copperhead. I dunno whatever but I can tell you the cover art features hands down the lamest version of Deadshot I've ever seen! I'm not fucken kidding it's so stupid I'm not going to even include it on this posting if you're not sure what I'm talking about just do a image Google search.

  1. I finished watching YJ and thought they didn't mean to end it there. At all. In fact, I think they went back and fixed some things in prior episodes to wrap things up, and then just went ahead and let the season finale air as is. Either that, or they're hoping for some straight to video/netflix YJ movies. That's always a possibility. They certainly do enough Batman / Justice League ones. (Not complaining about that. Nossireebob. Love 'em. Keep 'em coming.)
*sigh* I still can't believe they're ending this show. So many plotlines to go. Just on the teenbopper drama front. M'Gann and Conner need to break up for good. Time has to dump Cassie, as all good disciples of the Bat do to their girlfriends. Cassie and Conner have to get jiggy with it. Beast Boy needs to meet Terra. Terra needs to shuck them all over for Deathstroke. And hell, they never did bring Rose in. She's a barrel full of green monkey laughs.
    *sigh*
I need a drink. It was such a fun ride.

    1. agreed! but now that a couple of days have passed here's what i wish we had seen before the series "ended". we never saw the Roy Harper clone again after the episode Satisfaction did we? i guess we didn't really have to see Sportsmaster and Cheshire again after their last appearance but i was hoping we would. and then there's Deathstroke they only intimated that Ms. Martian took care of him some how before she took on his identity in last week's episode Summit. that's it . . for now : )

    2. Maybe this "cancellation" is all just a clever ploy for them to start a Teen Titans show. You know, a real one.

    3. They didn't mean for it to end. And it was a fun ride for the most part with some good story telling.

Now get the Hell on YJ. Make way for the Batman.

Random I heard it was going to be a new Teen Titans show to come out. I think it's going to be in the same vein as Teen Titans Go.

    4. look who's got himself a new profile icon cool! we'll see how that Batman CGI cartoon goes but i can't see how it will measure up to YJ. at least not for me anyways.

    5. memoirs of a disgruntled Geek.

And you know they would rather
      commit hara-kiri than reboot Batman.

    1. agreed of course but i can't make heads or tales where it belongs continuity wise especially since that isn't Deadshot's 52 costume. or well fuck it's still cool to see some new art of the pre-52 Squad regardless of the context. thanks for coming by.

  3. How can a guy with a literal bullseye and an emotionless mask be drawn wrong.
. Then you google search and its 'oh yeah, that's why'

I agree with Random - if a cartoon titled The New Teen Titans ever launched I'd fly to the US to watch the first episode. There it's in writing ZDC.

    1. That's the sound of all of us creating dozens of email accounts to pepper CN with requests for TNTT, Dan.
