"DC finally doing justice with The Suicide Squad"

The last comment left on the previous posting seemed like a good title for today's posting although really I won't know for sure until I see this movie in full. But A big thanks to everyone who gave me a heads up on this. I've really enjoyed many of DC's animated movies even though I don't like what DC has in print these days let's hope this is the latest good one. We've had snippets of Suicide Squad related stuff in previous DC movies but this is the first full on appearance as far as I know and although I'm not a big Arrow fan all this new Squad stuff we've been seeing is a clear indication that Task Force X is making some bigger inroads in not just DC but to the general public as well.
Needless to say there's a number of other Squad favorites that I would like to see here but if the writing is good this could still work out well. As soon as I can find a copy I'll no doubt post a review. Rather at a Big Box store or like a used record/DVD/CD store I've always been able to get these movies for between $10 - $15 but I'm willing to pay a little more for this one just to find out if it's any good. Again thanks for the heads up on this let me return the favor by sharing something Suicide Squad related that's kinda cool too http://braveandboldlost.blogspot.com/2014/03/bronze-tiger-vixen-and-black-panther.html

  1. I'm just glad it's actual Waller. Plus, hooray for Captain Boomerang! And- Kevin Conroy is Batman!!!

    1. the animation looks really good and it features an awesome cast of voice actors. looks promising let's hope it doesn't disappoint, especially if I throw down some good cash for it.

  2. Lets support this movie and buy the DVD/Blu Ray. Prove to DC that fans love Classic Amanda Waller

    1. if DC hasn't figured out yet that the skinny Waller is not popular among the fans by now then I doubt high sales of this DVD.Blue Ray will make any difference. I can't seem to find the exact release date I just keep seeing stuff talking about fall of this year do you know?

    1. plus there was a lot of Deathstroke in the Young Justice cartoon (awesome show!) and he was also in Justice League Flash Point Paradox which is one of the best DC animated movies I've ever seen.

  5. Anytime we get 'Squad love, it's a good thing. Fat Waller's back.......in the DCAU though. Close enough I guess for now.

  6. That does look pretty cool. I never thought good Squad, or Spectre could appear in a G rated cartoon, but this might just sway it!

  7. unfortunately it doesn't look like any of us are gonna find out any time soon if this is gonna be good or not, or otherwise do justice to the Squad. it's not set to be released until somewhere around fall this year that's at least four fu$%&! months away from now.
