I didn't think to add these other links from recent Suicide Squad related postings from this blog when I first published this but here they are now

  1. This would be all shades of fucking awesome! Hell, the Hulk by himself would render the Squad obsolete since he's so powerful. Maybe a transporter or someone to sneak in stealthily somewhere while he's the diversion. But yeah, this would be a very interesting premise. Especially depending on what Hulk they get. The Original, dim-witted Hulk, or the Banner Hulk.

  2. Now this is the type of comic I would buy, no problem. Great find, Ben.

  3. This is sweet as - I really miss John Byrne's run on the Hulk. He filled it with so many quirky villains, it was great reading! Just like how Mark Waid has him currently working for S.H.I.E.L.D., Waller would line Banner up to create weapons etc and employ Hulk to well smash, but in even better places!

  4. thanks for the comments guys. yeah this was a good find and in general i'm glad to be finding some new Suicide Squad stuff out there lately that is pre New 52.
by the way Dale i beg to differ on just one point with your comment. i think Vertigo and Nightshade's powers would definitely have some impact on the Hulk. maybe even a sonic boomerang or two also.

  5. Knowing the Hulk's history, and also depending on the writer at the time, while their respective powers would be fine and all, I don't honestly seem them as anything more than distractions/diversions for more powerful players. Nightshade would have a slight edge with her teleportation powers used in unison with other abilities. The Hulk's the hulk, bar none.
