This posting started off with this really nice custom Rick Flag figure. Then I stumbled across this equally nice Count Vertigo one too. And then I coincidentally found this staged scene photo of what I assume are factory made figures that I thought were also pretty cool. Deadshot, Deathstroke and Deadpool. Reminds me of the time I worked at a place that had one guy named Randy Graves and another named Randy Slaughter.
Just a little something I whipped up in photoshop as an after thought.
Sweet, sweet customs Shlomo. Sadly I think that's the only way we'll get any of the old-school Squad members unless they started being made for the Subscription line.
ReplyDeleteLast picture is cute, and definitely something I could see happening.
There was a pre-NU52 annual of the Superman/Batman comic that features an alternative world version of Slade Wilson. Guess who his costume's based of of? Deadpool. Get it...Slade and Wade Wilson?
Lastly, you know that custom pic of Count Vertigo you showed me? I played around with it with my photoshop programs and I'll send you what I came up with.
Everybody get's to play on the computer these dayz except the Agent. I feel left out. The schedule has been Hell for a while now. So it was good to log on and see Deadpool acting a fool as usual. Nice customs man.
Delete@Dale: I'm headed over to the madhouse to get my fun fix. Until then, long live the Squad.
That Vertigo figure is awesomesauce! I miss his rivalry with Deadshot. They say you can't keep playing off the same relationships in comics over and over and I know Ostrander brought their grudge match to a halt in style, but it still doesn't mean the two can't make a decent team-up now and again. Oh DC52. I forgot
ReplyDeleteoh i'm all for forgetting the DC52 mate. hey Tiger OA1 i feel your pain. for the next two days i'll be working literally from sun up to sun down. basically i'll only be going home to sleep and that's all. so if i don't seem too chatty for the moment that's why.
ReplyDeleteI can see that photoshoot happening exactly like that. I can then seen Deathstroke trying desperately to hold back the urge to cap Deadpool.
ReplyDeleteThe last picture brings up the question, of course, what did Batman have for breakfast? I hope it wasn't biscuits and gravy.
Don't work too hard, Shlomo! We'll all be here when you're conscious again.
He's a maaaaaaaaaaaaaaan. A real working maaaaaaaaan! ha ha.
ReplyDeleteTry not to break yourself buddy, as you go and handle your business.
Biscuits and Gravy. Hmmmmmm.
I like that Vertigo/Batman pic!
ReplyDeleteHow come this never happened?
oh but it did, go to my Sunday, September 23, 2012 posting. you were the first person to leave a comment there in fact.
