I've been wondering for a while if I'd ever find anything again having to to do with the original Suicide Squad. Well just by chance I happened to stumble across this rather unique fan art. I didn't know what to think of it at first but as I started going through this artist's gallery on deviant art the work definitely started to grow on me. Among my favorites are Aquaman, The Riddler, Captain Atom, Cheetah, Guy Gardner, Solomon Grundy and Martian Manhunter: http://colouronly85.deviantart.com/gallery/
Oh wow! Me likie! Especially the Mirror Master and Deadshot one.ReplyDelete
Very cool find Shlomo:)
Wow - they're gorgeous. I like most of the other stuff in the gallery, too. Cheers for the link!ReplyDelete
Those are wonderful. I love it when someone uses negative space like that and you can actually tell what they're drawing. The Penguin and Starfire ones were big hits for me.ReplyDelete
Great find mr! At first I thought Boomerang was The Wasp for some reason, but all round great stuff. I miss Vixen. She was really a hot hot character for a while there. Then flop.ReplyDelete
I thought the same!Delete
well thank you for the comments everybody i'm sure the artist that did these will appreciate them. he doesn't appear to have Bronze Tiger in his portfolio maybe i'll give it a shot to do one in this style.ReplyDelete
True artist. His style and capture of the character is so very good.ReplyDelete
Vixen and Deadshot are the stand outs for me. Showing the viewer who the character is with only the stand out accents is super cool. vixen's short spiky hair says attitude and Deadshot is submerged in blood.
Nice find Shlomo, very nice.
the artist told me on deviant art this morning that he's going to look into doing some for BT, Vertigo and Nightshade so i left him with a link to the tiger cage. check your email.Delete
Good looking out. Eee ate Tess has done another SS review and I think I'm going to go ahead and get caught up when I get a chance so I can give some feed back.Delete
Very good! what right strokes of a brush can do!ReplyDelete
I'll go see the other pieces now :)
