After I picked this up on Deviant Art I tried to go back to it but couldn't find it again for some fu@#$% reason so I can't accredit it accordingly. Anyways, this is a really solid drawing. Good all around figure composition in terms of bodily proportions and the action pose. Just the sort of fan art I like to find for my blogs. I've been wanting to do some more fab art lately but I can't seem to get it together maybe seeing this will give me the artistic kick in the arse that I really need.

Really even in the 80's-90's I wanted to change his costume. I'm glad it was done, and to such good effect.
Here we go, my man Boomerang about to put in some work. Whoever did this did a bang up job. I like his pencils. Captain Boomerang is one of those characters that looked like an extra and turned out to be a leading man. The upstart that won't go away.

Deletefunny you should say that. i'm at work right now so i don't know the number of the issue from the Ostrabder series but it was one of the first issues Barabara Gordon as Oracle being hunted by Cliff Carmichael the "Thinker". at one point Boomerang gets pissed off with the assignment Waller gives him and he throws a temper tantrum telling her he quiting. this is when The Squad went freelance by the way. anyways, in response Waller tells Boomerang "fine, go out and get a real job then". so of course he goes back into his seat and just sits there quietly looking disgruntled.
