Hey mr - that's an awesome reference! Thanks for that - you should put a link to it in the sidebar so everyone can get it and it doesnt get buried by future posts.ReplyDelete
that's a great idea, i'm glad i thought of it :)ReplyDelete
Nice timeline! I like how short and concise it is, but it expertly tells you the most important stuff you'll need to know to jump on board of you haven't already.ReplyDelete
Good job - for what it's worth, I actually like SS Vol 2 and didn't think it was that bad.ReplyDelete
thanks Dale, i'm a firm believer in less is more when it comes to the internet so i usually make it a point to be as concise as possible.ReplyDelete
and also thanks Gary. i remember when Vol. 2 came out i by chance picked up the first issue. but it had next to nothing to do with Vol. 1 so i lost interest in it right away. later i found out that it died a quick death which didn't surprise me at all. but i won't hold it against you that you liked it : )
Dude that looks like it was made by the good folks at DC. Your Photoshop skills are amazing my friend. And I think I might be able to keep up with you SS fans with that quick reference crib note now.ReplyDelete
why thank you Craig i'm glad you found my time line helpful. i'm always looking for ways to this blog more "user friendly" so that one does not have to be super familiar with The Squad to enjoy coming here. the time line took up a good part of my day last Friday so it's nice to have the work appreciated.ReplyDelete
Thank you my friend! I'm thinking of printing it out and taping it to the door of my computer desk so I can reference it quickly without the chance of my computer crashing on me. :) I love the first few issues I've read so far! Thank you, DC, for putting them out in graphic novel form. Now I'll finally be able to tell completely what you're always talking about, instead of making educated guesses based on guest appearances in other books.ReplyDelete
Random, for all it's worth, you're very good at your educated guess work :)ReplyDelete
I tought you had read everything!
Dave, this post is amazing not only on the info but on the composition.
I loved the type-machine kind of letters you used. It gave it an 80's military feel.
